SYLVIA,
THE HERONS
AND THE FLOOD
MATHEUS CASTRO
During 2020, in the isolation period and with some free time, I decided that I should put my efforts into some personal projects, embracing the ideas I had during the process without judgment.
One of these ideas was to use one of the dreams I had (on a night in June or July, I don't remember well) as inspiration for a book. So off I went, wrote and illustrated, about 70 pages of a book.
"Sylvia, the herons and the flood" was the name chosen for the book, which in addition to being a project of free expression, improved my skills in digital illustration and made my days more colorful.
